What making $10m/year feels like

This week, I went to Paris and spent some time with a founder doing $10,000,000 in SaaS.

Hey, hey - it’s Mike! 😁

Last week, I checked my bank account and made a radical decision.

Just got back from Paris 🥐

Spent 2 days at the B2B Rocks event.

It was super inspiring to meet all of my “internet friends” and meet new ones as well.

I met up with Stefan, the founder of Expandi, who is doing $10,000,000/year.

Crazy!

He did a talk about this growth, and here are my 3 takeaways:

1) Focus on 1 core audience: discover the pain of a large enough audience and fix their problem in the best way possible. Don’t care about others. Don’t try to be the “best for all”. They actually have a super high churn bc they’re attracting lots of other users outside their ICP scope, but they don’t care. They just want to be the best for their core users.

2) Focus on what sets you apart: they’re not the only LinkedIn Automation tool, but they’re almost the only one going BIG on “safety first,” which works really well. I mean, nobody wants to lose their LinkedIn account due to a ban, right? By solving that particular problem, they influence decision-making among their potential users in the market.

And the third one?

Well, he actually shares it himself in my latest vlog.

Until the next one!
